Dine Out - Old Spaghetti Factory
Let’s Eat Out Fundraiser
Out next Dine Out night will be held Tuesday, May 7th at the Spaghetti Factory. So take the night off and enjoy a family dinner out for this Let’s Eat Out (LEO) event!
Spring Direct Donation Drive
From May 6-14 we will be holding our direct donation drive. During this fundraiser, we are asking students to reach out to friends and family and ask for contributions toward some very specific needs at Adams. This spring, we hope to raise funds to add more after school clubs next year, purchase a Reflex Math site license for the 2019-2020 school year (learn more at https://www.reflexmath.com), and to fully supply the extra classroom being added to Adams by the bond measure.
Students will be sent home with more information and envelopes for collecting donations on May 6th. Thank you for your help and support of these causes!
APT Meeting
On May 8, our APT meeting will be focused on reflecting on this year and looking forward to next year. So please come and offer you input on what worked well, what could use some tweaks, and what you’d like to see happen next year!
Staff Appreciation Week
Teacher Appreciation Day is coming up and with our crazy spring schedule, we’ve moved our teacher appreciation week to May 13-17 to give us time to prepare and make sure we show our staff how truly appreciated they are!
Please keep an eye out for sign-up information related to this important week!
Are you looking for ideas on what to do for a specific staff member to say thank you? Remember that most of them have completed surveys about what they like and appreciate most! Feel free to email your room parent or Jenny Stickland at Jennifer.stickland@yahoo.com for a copy of their survey.

PE and Wellness
PE NEWS
During the students' first class of the week, we played a fitness version of rock, paper, scissors. Students collected brown, blue, and yellow cards with each win, running/doing pushups in between collection areas. They practiced "marking" another student, a fundamental of playing defense. They they practiced rallying to another student with a line acting as a net. During the second class of the week, we went to the pickle ball courts and worked on rallying skills with Those courts are fee and open to the public!
