What to expect...
One of the most popular educational hands on programs consists of an early American craft class. This is ideal for Home School Students and School Field Trips! In each class students learn about the history of a particular craft or trade and get to try their hand at it.
For instance, in the Candle-Making class students learn the history of candles and then make a candle of their own which they get to take home. This program runs from end of April to Mid-November and costs $10.00 per student for one craft.
Optional activities including guided tours and buggy rides are available at an additional cost.
If you would like to stay afterward and have lunch as a group, please bring along a pack lunch and drink. Please remember, no nut products, in consideration of those with allergies.
