Thank you Megan Scanielo for chairing the 6th Grade Ice Cream Social this week! We enjoyed a record turnout, and a fantastic time was had by all.

WE ARE STILL LOOKING FOR CLASS PARENTS

Some classes are still in need of Class Parents. If your child is in the following classes, please consider volunteering:

3rd: Mertz, Wilson

4th: Blanche, Compton


All elementary parents, please fill out your family information for your student's class list. If you are interested in becoming Class Parent this year make sure to indicate that on the form.

Class Parents must be active members of the PTA to participate.

BAS/OAS Trunk or Treat!

Trunk or Treat is BACK, and we are thrilled to announce that BAS and OAS Elementary will come together this year for the first ever joint Trunk or Treat!!


Join us on Friday, October 29 from 6-8pm in the parking lot of OAS.

Families of Elementary students are encouraged to sign up to take part in this 'spooktacular' evening by volunteering to decorate a trunk, or just by making candy and non-candy donations to the event.


Please see attached flyer and links for additional information and to sign up to participate!

Please note, in an effort to minimize large crowds, BAS students will trick or treat from 6-7pm and OAS Elementary students will have the 7-8pm time slot. If you have students at both schools, we kindly ask that you choose only one of the time slots to attend.

BAS/OAS 5K IS BACK!

BAS/OAS 5K IS BACK!

Join us for the BAS/OAS Fall 5K and Fun Run on 10/17!

Registration is now open at https://runsignup.com/Race/NJ/Cranford/BloomingdaleOrangeFall5K .

This year, for the first time, 5k runners can now have the option to participate in-person or virtually, from anywhere at any time!

Runners must register by 10/11 to receive a bib.

Do you know of an OAS family dealing with an emergency or crisis?


The volunteers of Helping Hands, a PTA committee, can alleviate some of the stress by providing dinners for a week or more. Service is confidential and only with the approval of the family.
