WOLVES WIN WAY INTO STATE FINALS
The Chandler Wolves defeated Perry 62-20 in the State semi-final game last Friday and will take on the Mountain Pointe Pride this Saturday at 7:00pm at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale. Kick-off is at 7:00pm. CHS is sending two spirit buses to the game; $2.00 gets students transportation to and from the game and tailgating (includes subs, chips, drinks, etc.) Pick up your permission slip from the front office or bookstore. Signed permission slips and payment due to the bookstore by 12:15 on Wednesday. Join in the fun and let’s cheer the Wolves to a State Title this Saturday! (Photo Credit: Paul Mason)

Congratulations to the following CHS Wolves who were named to the 2016-17 6A Premier Football 1st Team: Bryce Jackson- Defensive Back; Sam Pepper and Chris Manoa- Defensive Linemen; Parker Hensley and Zack Bowers- Linebackers; Caleb Medina and Harold Colbert- Offensive Linemen; Johnny Johnson- Receiver/Tight End; and TJ Green- Running Back. Special Congrats to Coach Shaun Aguano, Region Coach of the Year!

WINTER SPORTS ASSEMBLY
There was awesome energy at last week’s CHS Winter Sports Assembly. Members of the Girls and Boys Track Teams received their 2016 State Championship rings, Girls Cross Country and Swim presented their State Runner-Up trophies, winter sports teams were introduced, and band, cheer, pom, and unified cheer performed. The entire CHS staff and student body even participated in the mannequin challenge!
DANCE CONCERT
The Chandler High Dance Department performed Revival last Wednesday in front of a packed CCA house. Modazz, Improv, and Advanced Dance choreographed and executed 17 fantastic numbers. In addition, students handled everything from stage management, sound, costumes, video, and ticket sales. CHS Dance is directed by Mrs. Katie Buren. Congratulations on a terrific concert!
MODAZZ MAKING A DIFFERENCE
Modazz students delivered $500.00 (20 large turkeys) to the Central Kitchen last week. The group of dancers is committed to a number of community service projects each year. Thank you!
HELP SUPPORT CHS BOYS BASKETBALL
AVID UPDATE
On Friday, November 18th, the AVID Freshman classes took a field trip to Chandler-Gilbert Community College. Students learned about the programs and opportunities that are offered at CGCC and were also given a tour of the campus.
AVID stands for Advancement via Individual Determination and is a program at CHS dedicated to closing the achievement gap by preparing all students for college readiness and success in a global society.

Have you ever thought about a career in Hospitality and Tourism?
Chefs and Head Cooks have an average beginning salary of $32,000-40,000. You can get the training you need at Scottsdale Community College.
Event planners generally start with an average salary between $26,000-35,000. These positions often want a Bachelor’s Degree which can be attained ASU, U of A or NAU.
Flight Attendants have a median salary of $37,000. This position requires training and/or certification. Rio Salado Community College offers initial flight attendant training.

Thanks to everyone who contributed food and other items during our Chandler Care Center Family Assistance Food Drive. We filled a bus with four pallets full of goods! The Care Center was thrilled with the delivery of so many items that will help benefit the Chandler community.
