Buckingham Parent Newsletter
May 2016
Note from the principal...
"A teacher is like a candle - it consumes itself to light the ways for others."
The teachers at Buckingham pour their heart, energy, and extra time into creating an environment for your student to grow and learn. They are the most passionate, dedicated, and inspiring professionals I know. Take a moment to thank your child's teacher during the first week of May for teacher appreciation week.
If your child is in 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade, please make sure they bring their iPads charged everyday, get enough sleep, eat breakfast, and come to school on time the entire month of May. There are tests and STEM activities planned throughout the month and students need to be ready to learn each day.
We hope to see you at our third annual STEM Night on June 1st or during a STEM Lunch and Learn activity. Thank you for your continual support!
Warm regards,
Sunshine Dandurand
