Dear Parents,
...and the fun never stops here at St. Anne School! Please take note that our first SAPTO meeting will take place this coming Monday, Sept. 26. We will be serving dinner to our families starting around 6:45 in the school cafeteria. Parents, be sure to check in at our check in table when you arrive. Once you and your children have finished dinner, the students will be sent up to child care in the library and our meeting will begin a little after 7:00. Once the meeting is over, parents can pick up the "free dress pass" for their child(ren), and then go up to the library to pick up your child and then head for home. Ms. Vollert will be making a brief presentation about what is going on in eighth grade at this meeting. I hope to see you there so you will be able to learn more about what is going on here at school AND you will meet new parents and build new friendships.

STUDENTS' PICTURES
All students had their school pictures taken today by our new photography company, Still Light Studios. In two to three weeks, you will receive an email from the company letting you know that you can go on-line and view your child(ren)'s pictures. Please note that we will not have a group class picture taken in the spring this year as we did last year. Class composite pictures will be made available, however, later on. Please be on the lookout for Still Light Studios email.

5K WALK-A-THON - FRIDAY, OCTOBER 21ST
We are a month away from the 5K Walkathon and have raised over $20,000! Thank you to all the families who have made donations, pledges/matches or simply added friends and family contacts into Pledgestar (www.pledgestar.com/stanne). Don’t miss this chance to receive a free homework pass - if you meet this year’s goal of donating $150 (per student) by this Friday, September 23rd.
Volunteers needed! We are still looking for crossing guards for Kindergarten and Grades 5, 6, 7 & 8. Crossing guards get to show off their neon vests and stop signs while they ensure the safety of their class crossing the streets. We also need volunteers for the event set-up, food prep and event clean-up to enjoy a successful BBQ! Make sure to sign up and secure the right t-shirt size for you by this week, as we close in the t-shirt orders, through SignUp.com (the link is at the bottom of St. Anne’s website).
Please keep in mind the key dates:
- Sept. 23: Early birds who meet this year’s goals will receive a homework pass
- Sept. 30: Register and enter 10 names into Pledgestar to receive a free dress pass
- Oct. 7: Submit permission slips to teachers
- Dec. 2: Deadline for match gifts* to arrive.
*Submit match requests ASAP to ensure your employer has time to process and send payment to St. Anne. Match gifts that qualify for the “Going the Extra Mile” will receive a homework pass

PARISH FESTIVAL
The annual St. Anne Parish Festival is back! Join St. Anne Parish 10/21 to 10/23 for family friendly fun including Movie Night, Carnival, and Oktoberfest dinner dance. Check out the Festival Facebook Page for details and event updates.
