Albert Einstein won the Nobel prize for physics in 1921. He was a very well known physicist his thoughts about nature and space revolutionized physics as we know it. He won this Nobel prize because of "his services to Theoretical Physics, and for his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect."
Theodore Roosvelt
Teddy Roosevelt won the Nobel Prize for Peace in 1906. He was the 26th president of the United States, he served from 1901-1909. He won it because of his many peace treaty's made in his time in office.
Woodrow Wilson
Woodrow Wilson was the 28th president of the United States, he served as President from 1913 to 1921. He won the Nobel Prize for Peace in 1919 because he founded the League of Nations.
Al Gore
Al Gore was well known as the 45th vice president of the United States, he was Bill Clinton's vice president. He is also an environmental activist and has formed many organizations to help the environment. He won the Nobel Peace Prize for his hard work in climate change activism.
Jody Williams
In 1997 Jody Williams won the Nobel Peace Prize for banning and clearing anti-personnel mines. She is also well known for her defense of human rights, and her work at getting better security in the world.

Norman Borlaug won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1970 because he increased the worlds food supply. He was a agronomist and a humanitarian. He has been called "the man that saved a billion lives" and "the father of the green revolution." He has received many awards for his efforts in increasing food security.
Martin Luther King Jr.
In 1964 Martin Luther King Jr. won the Nobel Peace Prize. He won the Prize for nonviolently fighting racial inequality. He wrote the famous "I have a dream" speech, and was very successful in fighting racism.
