The Musselwhite Memo

Happy Monday, AMS families! I hope that you had a wonderful weekend. This week is Red Ribbon Week. Staff and students are encouraged to join in on the daily themes (posted below).

Also, as part of our student recognition program, we are accepting nominations for Community Champions. Each month we celebrate students who are making a difference in our community (outside of school). To nominate a student, please click the link below!

As always, thank you for your ongoing support of AMS! If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out! Remember to be the difference and have a great Bearcat day!

Thank you Mark Laudenheimer and Brookshire's for supporting our Employee of the Month!

Congratulations, Mrs. Jones (September) and Mrs. Newell (November)!

Student Device Information

We recently started seeing issues with students accessing Canvas (and other district apps) from a personal device. After researching the issue, we found that these students were logged into Chrome with a personal account rather than their Aledo ISD account. The issues only started popping up after a recent Google Chrome update that occurred a few weeks ago. Going forward, please instruct your students who have personal devices to make sure they’re logged into Chrome with their Aledo ISD account if they’re having issues.

Here’s a link for additional information on how to determine which account you’re signed in with, as well as how to add an account.

We are looking for Campus Volunteers! While we are under construction, we have limited volunteer opportunities - but there are definitely some areas that we could use your help! Please remember that volunteers in Aledo ISD must complete a background check. For more information, click here . Also, to sign-up for volunteer opportunities at AMS, click the button below! Thank you!
