RAMP Designation
Art Show
We were all disappointed that our annual spring art show was canceled for this year. We know how much students and families look forward to this event. We also know that many families have an art gallery in their homes for their children's artwork.
To provide you an opportunity to continue adding to your gallery, there will be an option for you to purchase the frame for the artwork on MyPaymentsPlus. Simply go to MyPaymentsPlus and select "Art Show Frame" to make your purchase. The order window will be open thru Monday, May 18.
On May 21 and 22, your child's Art Portfolio (and ceramic piece) will be with their class items to be picked up. If you have ordered a frame, it will be included in your child's bag.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Ms. Dorian at joyce.dorian@gcpsk12.org.
First LEGO League 2020-2021
FIRST LEGO League challenges children to think like scientists and engineers. During the 2020-2021 season, teams will choose and solve a real-world problem in the PROJECT. They will also build, test, and program an autonomous robot using LEGO MINDSTORMS technology to solve a set of missions in the ROBOT GAME. Throughout their experience, teams will operate under the FIRST LEGO League signature set of Core Values, celebrating discovery, teamwork, and Gracious Professionalism®.
If you are a rising 4th or 5th grader interested in trying out for the team, please click here for more information and project requirements and here for the application.
