Cool Cats Update
Week of November 13
Monday Motivation
You are in a position to make a positive impact on our
students. You have the power to go above and beyond to
bring your classroom lessons to life and to make a real
difference in the lives of our students. The best teachers think
outside of the box and outside of the norm. These teachers
make classroom experiences exciting and memorable for the
students. This week, spend time creating a classroom full of
lasting memories and amazing lessons.
Teachers who THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX encourage their students
to THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX.

Here are 5 ways you can be a Coach for your students:
- Excitement! Your excitement is the #1 factor to success in your class. Kids feed off of your energy. Encourage students, talk about the lessons/fit videos, high-five any Apex rep who comes to class! Be as creative as possible with decorating your classroom, class poster, desks, etc.
- Pep Rally: log in with your Code and help students write 10 people to ask on Kit
- Send out emails to parents with updates daily and encourage pledges.
- Remind the students every day at the end of school about the lessons and pledge challenges.
- Please come up with both a Team Name (i.e. Mrs. Johnson’s Jaguars, Ms. Cannon’s Cardinals, etc.) and fill in your Class Poster and prize level boxes on your poster—$20/lap. PTA is working on getting as many volunteers as possible to help you decorate your classroom door.
Where in the World are Kristen & Anna?
- Kristen & Lisa Self will be touring the Momentus Institute on Tuesday morning. We'll be back around lunch.
