- The subject preparation tasks is a longer document (five pages) which presents tasks chronologically, in detail, with links to further resources.
Both documents can be access via the Interact2 help and support website:
OTHER SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE LEARNING DESIGN UNIT
Inductions for New Staff
Are you a new academic staff member at CSU?
An induction for sessional and teaching staff is available. The induction provides an overview of Interact2 and other educational technologies, subject outlines, and assistance with subject and course design.
To access the induction service, log a request via the Service Request System (SRS).
Subject Consultation
Through our Service Request System(SRS) you can schedule a consultation meeting with an Educational Designer to discuss your teaching and learning questions or ideas.
An Educational Designer will meet with you to provide general and specialist advice and consultation, and they will work with you to plan your subject development and implementation. Educational Designers will also be able to advise you about other services or experts relevant to your subject needs.
Consultation meetings could include:
- Evaluation of your subject or an aspect of your subject and providing you with a plan for making improvements or changes;
- Effective use of Interact2 or other educational technologies in your subject to enhance student engagement and achievement;
- How you could improve student engagement in online or face-to-face interactions?
- Observation of teaching (face-to-face or online) and provide feedback and suggestions for enhancement;
- Discussion of ideas or possible project which you would like to discuss.
Our Educational Support Coordinators are also available to support you in the effective use of Interact2 and other educational technologies in your subject.
Learning Design Unit
If you require assistance with Learning Design (including professional development), you can request assistance through our Service Request System (SRS), and one of our Educational Designers (ED) or Educational Support Coordinators (ESC) will be in touch to assist you!
