End of the Year Medication Pick-Up

Mark Your Calendars

If your student has medication in the health room, please plan to pick up the medication on May 24th or May 25th from 8:00am-3:30pm. These will be the only days that you will be able to pick up your student's medication. The school cannot store medications in the health room over the summer. All medications that are not picked up on these dates will be disposed of, expired or not.

Library News ~ Overdue Books

Email notices were sent out again this week for overdue library books. If your child has a fine, you may pay it on their MySchoolBucks account. If the fine is not showing up there, or you have any questions, please email our librarian, Jane Gregory. jgregory@dcsdk12.org

Chromebook and Charger Return Dates

Chromebook and charger return for:


  • In-class students will be today, Thursday, May 20th and Friday, May 21st during school hours .
  • ELearners device drop-off will take place Tuesday, May 25th and Wednesday, May 26th between 7:30am until 4:00pm. Please return your student's Chromebook and charger to the CCE front office.


Each student should hand in their Chromebook and charger. There will be a $300 charge for Chromebooks and $35 charge for chargers NOT returned by these dates.

LOST And FOUND - Going... Going... It will be gone on May 25th!

There is still A LOT of clothes in our Lost and Found. Please stop by Friday, May 21st or Monday, May 24 (between 7:30am-4:00pm) to go through our Lost and Found. After May 24th, we will be donating all Lost and Found items.

District Accountability Call for Members

The District Accountability Committee (DAC) is now accepting applications to fill vacancies currently open or opening on June 30, 2021. The DAC is looking for parents with child(ren) currently attending DCSD neighborhood school(s) and an at-large community member. To complete the DCSD DAC online application click this link no later than May 31.

AFW is partnering with Coyote Creek again for the annual store rally. If you are planning on buying furniture or have been putting it off, check out AFW and mention Coyote Creek when you make your purchase. A portion of your purchase will be donated to CCE.


When: Stop by the store between Friday, June 4th and Sunday, June 13th and mention Coyote Creek at check out.

Our "Simple Science" summer program kicks off on Wednesday May 26. The summer hours are 7am-5:30pm. Each day we will be focusing on a different theme and completing a simple science experiment. Full time Kindergarten Registration for 2021-2022

Coyote Creek offers FREE full time kindergarten for all students. We no longer have part time kindergarten, and the state funds Full time kindergarten for all Colorado kids!! Registration for the 2021-2022 school year will be ongoing. Registration packets are now available on the CCE website. If you don't have printing capabilities packets will also be available at the front office prior to registration. Please share this information with any neighbors who do not yet have students in school.
