Fort Bend ISD GT Family Series

GT PAC Parent Symposium

The GT Parent Symposium hosted by the GT PAC was a great success! Thank you to all who took part in this year's virtual event.

If you missed any of the GT Parent Symposium sessions or would like to watch any sessions again, we have good news! Recordings and handouts from the Symposium are now available on the GT Parent Symposium Page (https://www.fortbendisd.com/Page/133019).

Also, for a limited time only, you can hear the compelling presentation from our keynote speaker, David Sebek, entitled "Developing Growth Mindset to Battle Perfectionism."

Mr. Sebek shared practical and usable strategies parents can use to maximize their child's potential, develop a positive learning mindset, and help them give their best to the world. After this 60 minute presentation, parents will come away with techniques to help their student reduce learning frustrations, handle setbacks/grade disappointment, and approach learning new things in a way that will carry them through life’s challenges.

Based on the contractual agreement, the recording of Mr. Sebek’s session will be available for FBISD parent’s viewing until June 3, 2021. To access David Sebek's talk before June 3, please contact Aisha Holmes for the video access link.
