Read Across JSE

On February 1st we launched our school wide reading event called "Read Across JSE". The book that the entire school will be reading is Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH.

Teachers have decorated the halls to go along with the theme of the book! Below are some photos from around the building. We are even having some furry visitors to the school to represent the main characters.

Students will read the selected work in their classrooms. Be sure to ask your student to tell you about what they read each day!

Inclement Weather

As winter progresses, we have already begun to see snow and ice. If we have a weather event, please monitor the radio ,television, social media, or MCS district website to look for delays or cancellations. Check for Maryville City Schools (not Blount County or Maryville Christian). The district’s automated messaging system will also send out phone calls and e-mails if there is any change to the schedule. If you have had any changes to your phone number, address, e-mail, or emergency contacts, please let the front office know ASAP. Thank you!
