Texas Roadhouse Fundraiser
Announcing our 2020 Englewood eLearning Texas Roadhouse Fundraiser! All orders will be completely online.
**Order your Gift cards and famous Texas Roadhouse Rolls NOW!!
Gift cards will be delivered via email so family and friends can order them nationwide and use them at any Texas Roadhouse location. 10% of all card sales will support Englewood eLearning and in turn the teachers and students of eLearning.
Texas Roadhouse's famous rolls and cinnamon butter will still need to be picked up in person at their Sheridan Riverpoint location (3696 S. Natches Court, Sheridan, CO 80110), but 50% of those sales will support eLearning.
The best part is the bread will be available in time for Thanksgiving and we have planned everything to optimize your support. Bread pickup nights will be Thursday, November 19th and Monday, November 23rd. These will also be 10% spirit nights for Charles Hay World School PTSA. So when you pick up your bread, stay and dine or get a to-go order to support the school. You can even use the gift cards you purchased and double your support for one of our Englewood Schools.
All you need to do is go to https://na.eventscloud.com/englewoodelearning
You have until Wednesday, November 18th to place your orders.
Thank you sincerely in advance for supporting our teachers and students.

Zoom Use
Zoom is a tremendously powerful tool that we have available to our teachers to use for learning. Without Zoom, we would not be able to provide the unique educational experiences our teachers design for your students. We are fortunate to have such an asset to leverage for learning. Additionally, Zoom allows our students to connect and socialize in a virtual setting, which is a great way to support their social/emotional well-being.
With that said, it is important for our families to recognize their role in ensuring students are using Zoom for educational purposes. Please know that students are not permitted to create accounts using their Englewood Schools email address. Additionally, it is the responsibility of the parent/guardian and the student to monitor student Zoom access outside of school hours and scheduled Zoom meetings with Englewood teachers. We ask that you monitor your student’s usage of his/her computer to ensure the experience your child receives is safe and appropriate. This is especially important if students are using computers outside of meetings during non-scheduled times with Englewood staff.
Please engage in a conversation about appropriate use of technology, particularly with Zoom. Please see the previous message from Paul Whitaker, which outlines resources you can leverage for that conversation.
Thank you for your support in ensuring a safe and meaningful experience with eLearning!

Original Works Art Fundraiser
Dear Families,
During the past couple of weeks, we have been working on creating a piece of art in our Art Room Zoom meetings. This artwork could be used for the Original Works Fundraiser or your student may have another masterpiece that they have created. Either way, if you can participate in the fundraiser that would be great! We are raising funds to purchase more art supplies and possibly pay to have a guest artist join us for our synchronous learning time.
Please see the attached instructions. It's pretty easy. I tried it myself. They even have masks this year! If you have any questions, please let me know.

7-12 Week at a Glance- November 9-13
Edgenuity grades update:
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Starting the week of November 16th (if not sooner) you will notice that your student(s) will have a grade for their Edgenuity classes entered into Infinite Campus. This grade will be considered an “In Progress” grade, as the semester is not yet over.
The grade that will be entered will be the "Actual" grade from the Edgenuity graded report. This is important for you to know because the "Actual" grade will be the grade that is posted in Infinite Campus at the end of the semester, NOT the Overall grade. For more clarification on Edgenuity grading, please click here.
Effective today, the Edgenuity Progress Report has been changed to reflect the "Actual" grade over the "Overall" Grade to start making this transition.
Please reach out to the eLearning admin team if you have any questions.
Student Check In
Each student is now responsible for indicating your own attendance. It is incredibly important you do this EVERY DAY you participate in your Edgenuity course work. All you need to do is follow three simple steps!
Step 1: Login to your Infinite Campus portal
Step 2: Locate the box that says "Check Ins" and click it
Step 3: Click "Yes, I'm Here"
***Only check in if you have participated in Edgenuity for the day, if you DON'T login to Edgenuity you will be marked ABSENT.
