Paws for Pride. . .
For the months of March and April we are celebrating and highlighting individual responsibility. Congratulations to our first Paws for PRIDE winners for individual responsibility: Riley Reteneller, Miss Casselli, Katie Gomez, Josiah Thomas, Chase Barton, Nathan Fryer, Aditi Chathuruthy, and Connor Markowitz.
Students and teachers are chosen at random to be recognized and celebrated for demonstrating one of our five character traits - Pride, Respect, Individual Responsibility, Determination & Empathy. Thank you to all of the Titus families for your support of our Paws for PRIDE program.
Titus Creates Leaders In and Out of the Classroom
As we approach PSSA testing season, I would like to take a moment to remind everyone that Titus is much more than a test score. Recently, Mr. Michener and Mrs. Horan drafted an article regarding how the Titus community makes us all better – teachers, parents, and students. I want to share this article with each of you, hopefully you will walk away feeling even more fortunate to be a part of the Titus community.
Read Across Titus 2017. . .
Titus celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday with our Read Across Titus event on Thursday, March 2nd. This all-day reading celebration was fun for everyone!
Check out our Read Across Titus page here to see pictures from the day and a movie starring some of our Titus Tigers!
Making Titus Beautiful Takes A Lot of Work . . .
The Warrington Township Environmental Advisory Council has presented Titus with a unique opportunity to cultivate a butterfly garden in our front courtyard. In order to begin this process, we are in need of coffee grounds (they can be transported to school in a sealed Ziploc bag) and old newspapers. We will be collecting these items through mid-March.
If we have any Scouts out there looking for a project, we’ve got the perfect one. We would like to build a container to house some of the host plants for our butterflies. We are looking for someone to construct a 1.5 foot by 6 ft. box about 6-8 inches high. If you are interested in building this for our garden, please contact Mrs. Walls.
Think Spring. . . It is Getting Closer!

Attention: 6th Grade Parents
Once again, we would like to celebrate the graduating 6th grade class by looking back at the friendships and memories they have made at Titus by including a couple “Memory” pages in the yearbook.
In order to do this, we need your help! If each of you could look through old pictures from your 6th grader’s years at Titus and email a few pictures to me, we should be able to put together a great couple of pages.
Here are some things to think about as you select pictures:
- Group shots work great because we can include more students.
- Please email digital pictures to laurazak@verizon.net
- Please understand, I may not be able to use every photograph I receive, but will do my best to ensure all 6th graders are represented.
Please use the subject line “6th Grade Picture" and send all pictures by Friday, March 24th
