Principal Newsletter

From the Desk of Mrs. Riley

December 6, 2018

Dear Parents,

Advent has begun!! As we begin the month of December, let us remember what we are planning and waiting for. Advent is a time of renewal and faithful preparation. We are invited by God to prepare our hearts, minds, and homes to make room for the love of Jesus. May Christ be in your hearts in all that you do during this Advent season!

Important Information for School Visitors

In an effort to maintain a secure and safe environment for our students and staff, please pay careful attention to the following guidelines.

It is imperative that we have a record of all visitors who gain access to our school during the school day. If you are coming in to volunteer and/or meet with a teacher please enter through the front door only and sign in at the reception desk. When leaving the building you must exit through the front entrance and sign out. At no time should a visitor grant access to another visitor through the gym doors. You may utilize the gym doors to unload items however only after you have signed in at the front entrance. Volunteers that volunteer on a regular weekly basis are to wear their volunteer badges while on the premises.

Thank you for your constant support and prayers for our school. I encourage you to continue to support our work as we advance our mission to provide a transformative education steeped in academics and faith to our deserving students. There is no greater investment for forming our future saints than a Catholic education!

Please carefully review this week's newsletter for many reminders and updates. We thank you for entrusting your children to us and for the sacrifices you make each day to send your child(ren) to Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic School.

God’s Peace,

Mrs. Barbara Riley
