St. Patrick Catholic School

Weekly Bulletin - March 20, 2020

Leadership Message

Thank you for your cooperation during the supply pick up the past two days. It was wonderful to see parents again; we definitely wish we could have seen our students too! The staff miss them dearly. We would like to take this opportunity to reach out to our St.Patrick School Community. This week has been challenging for many as we transition into an online method of education for our students. Please know that staff have been working hard this week forming faith integrated academic lessons and creative ways to keep connected to your child during this time. We have a strong school community, and there is no doubt that strength will continue forward through various connections and reaching out to each other during this time.

Slow, Flexible, and Compassionate-these are the words used with staff to remember as we guide our students and families through these unprecedented times. We look forward to resuming programming March 30th. Our staff are looking forward to a much needed break after a very heavy week of planning and meeting.

Have a safe and restful Spring Break. Please feel free to reach out to our school staff as needed. We would like to leave you with these powerful words from Pope Francis on keeping hope for better days ahead.

God Bless,

Bob Charchun

RE: Letter from Archbishop Smith

Dear Parishioners,

Please know that I will be celebrating daily Mass in private for all of your families and for the whole world. Your Mass intentions are still being offered daily. Please call the parish at 780-672-1131 if you are in need of help. Those who have the means to do so, please continue to support our parish financially. I keep you all in my prayers. Let us strengthen each other in prayers. All those who are able to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet and the Divine Mercy Novena, please do it. Thank you.
