In Person Learning 4 Days Per Week
If you have not been attending in person and would like to start doing so, please contact the office so we can ensure that there is adqueate space.
We understand that not everyone who has been attening in-person 2 days per week will choose to attend in-person 4 days per week due to schedule conflicts, lack or trasnportation or other limitations. Whatever day(s) students are able to attend in person, we will be happy to have them on campus.
If you have any questions about this, please contact Mrs. Working at email@example.com.
After School Support
Make sure to bring the following to the exam room:
- A government-issued or school-issued photo ID
- Two Number 2 pencils with erasers
Food will not be allowed during the exam so please make sure you have breakfast prior to taking the exam. Please contact the counseling department at 707-453-7300 if you have any questions or concerns.
- The Star English and Math assessments will both be administered on Tuesday, May 18th during students’ 4th period class.
- If your student is in grades 9-11 and does not have a 4th period class, they will receive an email with a Zoom link to complete their test on May 18th at 8:30 AM.
- Students who do have a 4th period class who are participating virtually will access their regular 4th period Zoom link on the testing day. All students at Buckingham, including seniors, will be on a modified bell schedule on this date in order to allow for testing to not conflict with our students’ regular coursework.
- Seniors are excused during the Testing Block, so their school day will begin at 10:15. The bell schedule for Tuesday, May 18th is below:
Summer School Options
Session 1: June 7-June 24th (Monday-Thursday, 8:30-12:30)
Session 2: July 12-July 29th (Monday-Thursday, 8:30-12:30)
If you previously completed an interest form indicating that you would like your student to attend, please follow up with your student's counselor for registration information.
For those intersted in a virtual option, Buckingham is also offering an online option for summer courses through our Buckingham Charter Online Learning (BCOL) program. The 8-week summer session is from June 7th to July 31st and there are no in person/Zoom classes. Students can complete an entire semester's course in that time.
Students and families interested in attending either of these summer school options to earn credits towards graduation should contact their student's counselor.

Students who have a chromebook checked out to them, have 3 options.
Option #1: Purchase the Chromebook for yourself
Option #2: Keep the Chromebook checked out in our library database (for students in grades 9-11)
Option #3: Turn the Chromebook back to your school site (due by Friday, June 4th)
Below is more detail regarding these options:
Option #1: You may purchase the Chromebook for yourself. The cost for the Chromebook purchase varies depending on the model of Chromebook you currently have issued.
HP 14” G1 Chromebooks (white/teal) are $20
HP 14” G3 Chromebooks (black, no rectangular slot to the left of the HDMI Port on the left hand side of the Chromebook) are $40
HP 14” G4 Chromebooks (black, there is a rectangular slot to the left of the HDMI Port on the left hand side of the Chromebook) are $50
In order to purchase the Chromebook, please come to the office with the Chromebook. The model and serial # of your chromebook will be verified. Payment may be made with cash or check made payable to VUSD Technology and you will receive a written receipt for your purchase. The last day to purchase the Chromebook at the school site will be Wednesday, June 9th.
Option #2: You may keep the Chromebook checked out to you in our library database. However, if the Chromebook is lost or damaged beyond repair, you will be responsible for the cost of replacing the Chromebook with a brand new one. The cost of replacement is $300 and the fine will be placed on your student account.
Option #3: You may turn your fully operational, non-damaged Chromebook in to the school and the device will be checked back in via our library program. If another device is needed next school year, they will be made available for you to check back in at that time. However, if there is damage done to the Chromebook, you will be responsible for paying for the damage (cracked screen, damaged keyboard, etc.)
If you have any questions, please contact Jim Wasielewski, District Technology Coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 707-453-6194.
