Infographics are being used by students to display the assignments, summaries or results of their projects. The process of an infographic creation tests their skills in sketching/planning, researching and distilling large amount of data, as well as graphic literacy. Their ultimate goal is to present a lot of complex information in an easy to read format.

A workshop will be offered at the end of April.

DISTANCE LEARNING TO KNOW ABOUT

Veterans History Project @ http://loc.gov/vets/

The Library of Congress offers students the chance to not only listen to the stories of veterans, but also give back by interviewing a veteran they know. There are detailed instructions and helpful documents on how to effectively interview veterans and then submit the work. There are also other features that teachers and students can explore. It is free to participate. Contact Dr. Stahr is you'd like your classroom set-up for distance learning.
