Dear Parents & Guardians
Autumn is well under way and the temperatures have been dropping quite considerably in the past few weeks. We'd like to take this opportunity to post a reminder about weather- appropriate clothing as the cooler seasons approach. Please ensure to send some warmer clothing layers so that children can dress appropriately according to our activities should we spending some time in the cooler outdoors! It also helps keep us warm and healthy while we go from inside the centre to the cars in the mornings and evenings which are considerably cooler than the warmer afternoons.
We've had a lot of fun over the past few months, and still have much to look forward to in the coming months. Here's a brief overview of what we've been learning and some important events to come.

REDUCE. REUSE. RECYCLE
Here are some tips we learned about how to implement the 3R's
REDUCE - use less water and electricity by only switching on taps and lights while in use. We can also keep plug points switched off at the wall when we are not using them.
REUSE - we can reuse things by re-gifting wrapping paper, we can even re-use our newspaper as a gift wrap or even a table protector when doing crafts, we can use magazine pages to practice cutting. We can even use re-usable bags for carrying our groceries and shopping
RECYCLE - materials like cardboard, plastic and glass can be disposed in the special recycle bin. Food waste can be recycled in the green bin , or a worm farm or compost heap. Grey water can even be recycled by using it to water plants instead of just emptying it down the drain.
Putting our food waste to good use.
Proper Waste Disposal.
