You can join in person at 6:30 p.m. for dinner and community, followed by prayer, reflection and conversation until 8:15 p.m. Join can also join over Zoom from 7:15-8:15 p.m. on your device. For more information and to join the gathering in either of these ways, click here. The reflection will touch on such questions as:
- How do I know the movements of the Spirit in my life?
- How is the Spirit calling me to greater growth?
- What obstacles keep me from following the stirrings of the Spirit in my heart?
- Where do you see the Holy Spirit "caged"?
- What gifts of the Holy Spirit might be helpful to embrace more in my life?

Called & Gifted- COMING THIS SUMMER!
All of us have something to discern! The Called & Gifted program provides valuable tools for discerning how to use the gifts or charisms God has given us to live out our vocations. The program will explore what those charisms are and what they look like in action. Someone out there is waiting for what you have been given to give! The Office of Evangelization & Catechesis is looking to form a cohort of young adults who are interested in going through this program. More details to come! If you or someone you know is interested in participating, click here.
Young Adult Ministry Webinar
Thursday, May 20
As dioceses and parishes begin to or continue the process of re-opening, many ministry leaders are eager to gather again in person and get away from the screen. Yet there is a concern among ministers that young adults will not come back, that many prefer to engage in ministry and worship virtually. This webinar will explore the strengths and limits of using technology in ministry with young adults. Speakers include:
Mary Kate Polani, Digital Content Editor at Busted Halo
John Grosso: Director of Digital Media for the Diocese of Bridgeport and member of the Vatican's international digital media program “Faith Communications in the Digital World”
José Julian, Matos Auffant: Executive Director for Mission at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, TX
What Pentecost Means for the Christian Life
The season of Pentecost celebrates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and the birth of the Church, but what does Pentecost mean for the Christian life? What does it mean for you and I personally? Jackie and Bobby Angel share why we need to live Pentecost every day.
Radiant, a ministry of Our Sunday Visitor, is a platform for women in their 20s and 30s who are rooted in their identity in Christ and are striving for a vibrant life on this side of heaven. Radiant provides content about spirituality, relationships and culture, all from the perspective of young Catholic women living out the Faith in our world today. Check it out here.
Rosary Marathon for End of Pandemic
Pope Francis has launched a marathon to pray the rosary every day in the Marian month of May to ask for the end of the pandemic. 30 sanctuaries located all over the world and dedicated to the Virgin Mary will take part in reciting the rosary in unison, each one in turn leading the prayer. From Poland to Nigeria to South Korea, faithful Catholics will join together with special intentions for those who have been affected the most by COVID-19. There will be a livestream from one of the 30 chosen Marian shrines to lead the prayer at 6 p.m. Rome time (10 a.m. eastern time) on Vatican media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube). The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. will lead the rosary on May 17. To follow along, download the liturgical guide or the list of shrines and prayer intentions for the month.
