Then, on May 25, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM children who have earned the badges for every amazing character trait will have earned a special day for being so awesome!
Support for Thrall's Coach Porter
Thrall's athletic director is currently battling cancer. "Coach Ricky Porter is an amazing coach who has worked at Thrall ISD for several years. He is a phenomenal man who has always served the coaching world with integrity and class. He is recently fighting cancer again as it has returned for the second time, and Thrall is hosting a benefit dinner in order to support the Porter family in as many ways as possible." quotes Granger Athletic Director, Coach Stephen Brosch.
There will also be an online auction. Details are in the image below for anyone who would like to be of support and encouragement for Coach Porter and his family.

Shout Out!
Johnny Ryder is a junior at GISD and has been recently accepted into the 2021 Camp ARCH summer program at the College of Education at Texas A&M University. Attending Camp Arch is an excellent opportunity for him to learn at the College of Architecture, work with faculty and staff, and current students at Texas A&M. The architect summer program will allow him to create and design using a hand-built, 3-D model using CAD software, laser-cutting, and other specialized tools.
Congratulations Johnny!
