AMI Days Information
Wednesday, January 12- Friday, January 14
What to Expect
Your teachers should be sending out very specific information in regards to their own classroom expectations.
Each day your child will be expected to complete assignments that are posted in their Google Classroom.
Each teacher will be available via Google Meet from 10:00-11:00 and 2:00-3:00 each day to visit with your child and to answer any questions you or your child might have about the assignments. Teachers will send the Google Meet links through Google Classroom.
Ms. Haylee, our counselor, will be available each day from 1:30-2:00 through the link below to visit with any students or to help you with any needs you might have.
Activity classes will occur daily from 9:00-9:30. Your child can click on the link below for the activity they have on that day. These links are also posted in your child's Google classroom each day.

I've got some Math Questions
Mrs. Reed will have an open Google meet each day from 8:30-9:00 and 1:00-1:30 if you have any questions about your child's AMI Math work.
How will attendance be taken?
If your child completes their Google classroom assignments each day, they will be counted Present for the day.
Google meets are not required for attendance, but are highly encouraged.
My child receives Speech, OT, PT, SpEd Services, GT, Dyslexia, etc.....what do I do?
Students with an IEP will be following the remote learning plans outlined in their plan. Teachers will be contacting you with specific information regarding your child's individual plan.
If your child receives Dyslexia Intervention, Mrs. Morris will be continuing these services each day. She will be posting a time for your child to get on a Google Meet for their intervention each day.
GT students will be working on their ISP projects from home. They need to spend some time each day working on this. Mrs. Thomas will be emailing them specific information.
My child has finished their work and I need something else for them to do...
When your child logs into their chromebook, it takes them to a Clever page. Each teacher has Apps on this page which students can access.
Students can always practice their typing, work on math fluency activities as appropriate for their age, or read books on Epic.
How do I log onto this Chromebook anyway????
Your child should have a QR code in their folder or backpack. If they do not, please contact your child's teacher and they can email you a copy of it.
I don't have internet
The high school parking lot is a wifi hotspot where you can sit in the parking lot or on the provided picnic tables to complete work.
Please contact your child's teacher if this option cannot work for you.
