8th Grade Dance is Four Days Away

We are starting a new tradition with our end of the year dance for eighth graders. Parent volunteers are hard at work putting together a list of items that the dance requires as well as a volunteer list for the night of the dance. Yes! your children will allow you to be here for the dance (but please no dancing!). 7th grade parents who might like to volunteer to see what it will all be about for next year are welcome to assist in any way. 8th grade parents can sign up to help on this Sign Up Genius link . The dance is May 23rd from 7-9 to enjoy a little star gazing. Although it is going to be the social event of the season, it is a FULL SCHOOL DAY. Students should not be dismissed from school to prepare for the evening.

TPS Schools Art Exhibit Coming at TPL

The Tyngsborough Public School Visual Arts Department is proud to present an exhibit of selected students' artwork from grades one through twelve from Wednesday, May 22nd until Tuesday June 4th at the Tyngsborough Public Library. Thursday, May 30 - Last Late Bus/Homework Club

There is still time to order the yearbook! They will arrive Friday June 7th. Here is the link to order online, or your student can grab a form from the main office!

Prior to entering the 7th Grade, all students must provide a copy of a current physical (signed by an MD and dated within one year) and proof of the following immunizations: 1 dose of tdap, 2 doses of MMR, 2 doses of Varicella and 3 doses of Hepatitis B. Each time your child receives an immunization or has his or her yearly physical exam, please send a copy to the health office to keep your child’s file up to date.

International Students

$400 a month to host an international student!

We are looking for loving host families to host students that will be coming from Spain (a male-10th grade and a female 11th grade) to attend Tyngsborough High School for the 2019-20 school year. Each student comes with their own spending money and health insurance. We ask the host family to provide a bedroom/place to study and three meals per day. Any meals eaten outside the home are covered by the student. There is a local person in the community that supports the student and the host family. It is a wonderful way to bring a great cultural exchange within your own family. Please contact Cheryl Da Silva, PSE Regional Manager for Massachusetts for more information. or 617 710 5700
