A message from the Superintendent
Weekly Communication

Wednesday, September 7, 2022
Greetings PV Families,
Once again, I welcome you to the 22-23 school year. We are off to a great start! The first days of school have been filled with excitement, activity, and the smiling faces of students. We truly enjoy working with your children and look forward to a year of learning together.
This message, formerly known as the "weekly message," will be shifting to a bi-weekly and/or an as-needed schedule. We will make every effort to communicate necessary information while not over burdening your inbox. To that end, we would appreciate your thoughts on communication practices currently in place. If you have ideas for ways to improve communication from the Office of the Superintendent, or the District at large, please share your thoughts using this form.
Sincerely,
Dr. Barbara A. Russell

Free & Reduced Meal Program 🍎
The federal funding to provide free meals expires with the start of 2022-23 school year. This means families will need to apply for the free or reduced school meals program if needed. Visit our food service webpage for information and to access the application. In the event you need assistance, do not hesitate to reach out to a representative of the Food Services department, see email contact information above.
Important Note about PV Home Football Games
At our recent home football games, administration has observed the need for greater oversight of our elementary and middle school students. For the remainder of the football season, these students must be accompanied by an adult to gain entry into the game. Student safety is our highest priority and we appreciate your support.
