D103 Responds to Rising County COVID Cases

Hello D103 Community,

The Lake County Health Department distributed a notice today recommending that all K-12 schools, both public and private, revert to virtual learning due to the rising spread of COVID-19 in our communities. We will review the information from the county and provide an update on our decision regarding in-person learning tomorrow evening, Wednesday October 21. At a minimum, we will continue in-person learning this week through Friday, October 23.

Maintaining in-person learning for as long as possible is our goal. We will continue to work with the Lake County Health Department regarding further measures we can take to help decrease the spread in our community. As always, it is imperative for all of us to continue to Wear a mask, Wash our hands, and Watch our distance to help prevent the spread during this pandemic.

Thank you for your support and stay tuned for more information Wednesday evening.
