Pennies for Patients
Your child has the power to make a positive impact on the lives of blood cancer patients!
Timberview Middle School will join others across the United States in a program that will be instrumental in raising funds for lifesaving cancer research.
They will take part in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) School & Youth Programs, Pennies for Patients, presented by Olive Garden. During a three-week period, students collect spare change to support LLS’s mission: To cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
Can we donate more than pennies?

The beginning of the year is the best time to buy your student a yearbook. The 2015-2016 yearbook staff is already hard at work taking pictures and saving memories from this first week of school. You can add items to the yearbook like your student’s name by going to www.yearbookforever.com where you can order your book using a credit card. If you would like to purchase the yearbook at school a yearbook flyer is available in the eMonday folder, http://bit.ly/1QLEE2B, and for pick-up in the TMS front office.
The TMS yearbook was a nationally recognized book last year. This year we hope to move to the next level with outstanding photography, exciting stories and exceptional design. If you have need assistance please email Jennifer.Bass@Kellerisd.net

for questions regarding concession stand help please email the wonderful Sara Wardle at email@example.com
Box Top Help- Box top turn in date is Nov 1st- we are in need of people to help count these little guys in October. Super easy gig, just count and bag- we will provide the zip lock bags for you. If you would like to help count (or would like to be the Box Top coordinator for this year) please feel free to email Aubrey at Aubrey.firstname.lastname@example.org
The Big Blue Bin- have you noticed that big blue bin behind the school next to the football field? If you didn't know, that bin collects shoes, clothing, linens, stuffed animals, all sorts of items you no longer want/need - they pay us per pound- all year long! Just drop off your unwanted items and put in the big blue bin, and please- tell your friends- this is a super easy way for the school to raise money!
"Liking" and "Sharing" on Facebook- One of the very easiest ways to help TMS is to simply "like" any post we put up on our TMS Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/timberviewpta?fref=ts the more "likes" and "shares" our posts get- the more other people will see the post and the more people who see it- the more people will be in the know and can help our school!
Deepest gratitude to everyone who has already spent time volunteering for our school- we sure do appreciate you so much! And thank you in advance to everyone for considering the above opportunities. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me at Aubrey.email@example.com

11th Annual School Walk for Diabetes
We are gearing up for our 11th Annual School Walk for Diabetes and we need your help to make this year a success! We are asking if you would like to donate a basket for silent auction. It can be any theme, but needs to be worth $100. These baskets will be bid on the day of the walk to raise money for diabetes research. We are trying to get a count of how many families can commit to the basket by the end of October. Please contact me if you are interested in making and donating a basket or if you would like more information about the KISD Diabetes walk.
Thank you for your continued support,

We are so excited to be able to put on this flu drive again for Keller ISD! This is our third year to have this flu drive in our Keller clinic. The drive will be begin Nov. 1st and end Nov. 30th and will be held Monday-Friday from 3pm-9pm in the Urgent Care for Kids clinic in Keller. We are discounting the regular priced flu shots for Keller ISD: $5 for kids--$15 for staff and parents--$35 for flu mist (limited supply of the mist) and unfortunately, we cannot administer the shot to Medicaid patients. Cash pay patients will be in and out with less wait time but we accept all forms of payment. Please contact me if you have any questions at all. Again, we appreciate your help and support and really look before to seeing Keller ISD in our clinic!
Students are not allowed to carry medications in their backpacks or on them throughout the school day. All medication requires a form to be completed and medication will be given in the nurse’s clinic. Students may carry an inhaler if the physician signs paperwork and approves the child capable of administering the medication. Again there are forms to be completed and turned into the nurse’s office. The forms can be found at the following link in the eMonday folder, http://bit.ly/1VQCtgS. Please call Nurse Danielson with any questions or concerns at 817-744-2620.
