Silverwood School Summer Camp

Cultural Day

Today's Event: Cultural Showcase

Nigeria is a deeply diverse cultural nation. There are over 500 ethnic groups in Nigeria of which the three largest ethnic groups are the Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba. The name Nigeria was taken from the Niger River running through the country. That's enough facts for now! this week the children of silverwood had so much fun learning how to behave properly in the social sphere, engaged in deep cultural chores such as bead necklace making while singing folklore songs. A number of them ranging from 4 to 5 years were surprised they could string beads very well, as matter of fact adorned their be-spoke beads today.

Yes! Today being the cultural day!! children strolled around the camp in their native attire, with all paraphernalia in place. what a beautiful sight to behold!

And there is still so much more fun in the offing as the summer camp is nearing a heated pitch of excitement.... water volley....cinemas....home economics....and pyjamas party etc all scheduled within our expanse of playground and facilities.... need i say more ...please come, bring your kids and let them have FUN!!!!!
