A monohybrid cross is used wen predicting the outcome of only ONE trait. For example example blonde of brown hair.
Is a cross between two things. It is used when they want to make a prediction of a cross between two traits. This only works when genes that code for these traits are located on separate chromosomes.
An allele is two versions of a gene.
