Here are some pictures from our first #MondayMathMadness Mondays! How are you celebrating?
TBT FYI
I can't thank you again for a great AM and PM session of TBT! Our Team Building Tuesdays will not only consist of PD material. I plan on doing some team building activities as well. The True Colors Personality test will return as well as a cool balloon activity! Let me know if you have any suggestions on other team building activities!
New Devices?
The 4 year lease for the first round of HP devices is up at the end of the year. This includes all teacher devices and grades 1,2, and 3 in Lighthouse Schools. HP no longer makes the Revolves so there will be a transition to a new device. I will keep you posted!
Blended Learning in Action
During our trip to ISTE this past summer I got the chance to meet author Jason Green (well for the second time). He remembered me from our League of Innovative School visit last year. Laura, Alyssa, Jeremy, and I received a copy of his book Blended Learning in Action: A Practical Guide Toward Sustainable Change. Catlin Tucker, who presented at our school, is also an author of the book. This past Friday I got the chance to see Jason present at the Lighthouse principal's meeting. If you would like a good read please see one of us for his book! You can also follow the hashtag #BLinAction on Twitter to join in the blended learning conversation. I enjoy participating in his chats!
