Important Information

Fire Safety/Prevention Week

This week is fire prevention week and in order to better educate our primary students about what to do in the event of a fire, a local fire department will be presenting to our students on Thursday, October 13 from 2:45-3:30 pm. After the presentation, students will be able to tour a fire truck.

Body Safety Lessons by NOVA

Quakertown Elementary is proud to offer body safety lessons presented by NOVA.

NOVA’s personal safety programs build safe body boundaries.

In uncomfortable situations, children learn to listen to their feelings, say “no”, if they can, get away and always tell their trusted adult.

Programs will be offered to K, 1st, 4th, and 5th on October 19, 2022.

2nd and 3rd grades will receive their program on October 20, 2022.

If you have any questions about the lessons, please reach out to Eileen Bruchak at ebruchak@qcsd.org.

Student Progress Reports and Report Cards

This is just a heads up that all schools will be shifting to digital progress reports (coming out the week of October 24) and report cards beginning this school year.

Parent Teacher Conferences

This is just a reminder that parent-teacher conferences will held on Tuesday, November 1, Thursday, November 3, and Monday, November 7 from 4 PM - 8 PM. Please connect with your child's teachers to make an appointment. While teachers will be running conferences at the building, parents have an option to attend virtually for convenience purposes.
