GRAND COTEAU ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Ms. Viola C. Richard, longtime educator at Grand Coteau Elementary, retired Friday, October 11, 2019. She says goodbye after 34 years of service and dedication to her students. She has touched countless lives and educated more than just the mind. Her smile, encouragement and positivity will be missed greatly. She is and always will be the “Heartbeat” of Grand Coteau Elementary. Thank you for everything you have done for our school and the community. We love you!!!!!!
KROTZ SPRINGS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Thanks to a generous donation of lilies from Daylilies Etc. and Saltgrass Vintage, sixth graders at Krotz Springs Elementary were able to beautify the campus! Students reused the dirt from their archaeological dig and added lilies to the flower beds near the office. They were excited to help add beauty to our campus!

Congratulations to the North Central High FFA Land Judging Team for placing 6th overall out of over 60 teams competing and being the 4th highest school score.
Also, congratulations to Paige Coburn(far right) for scoring 2nd Place Highest Individual score out of over 200 students competing. Good luck to them as they compete at State on November 13 for an opportunity to represent Louisiana FFA at Nationals in May.

Last night OHS hosted the 20th Annual Post-Secondary Carousel. It was a huge success! Thanks to all who helped with this event, and thanks to all who came out last night.
