The Weekly Buzz
September 24 - September 29
Here are the reminders for this week!
Thought for this week- "Never stop learning, because life never stops teaching."
- Grading Practices 3-8: As grades begin to get entered into Power School, please remember the conversation around NYP's. If a student receives an NYP on a summative assessment, the entry on Power School should be accompanied by a comment. This comment can alert the parent that they should be looking for the reassessment form, identify the reassessment date, or that the reassessment process will begin on a certain date. Let me know if you have any questions.
- The Interest Inventory has now been turned into a schedule for Wednesday - an explanation of the colors and numbers is in Google Classroom. Thank you to Linda for taking the time on Friday afternoon to help me figure it out!
- The survey for our time with Allison Zmuda is up on Google Classroom. Please fill it out by Friday, September 28. Planning for this day will be on the agenda for the leadership team next Monday.
- We are looking for another teacher to join the PDEC (Professional Development and Evaluation Committee). Currently, Ane and Deb are on the committee, however, Deb can't make most meetings due to coaching. There are three scheduled after school meetings this year. If someone is willing to join Ane, it would be greatly appreciated!
