Caretakers, we want to thank you so much for your partnership. We are so privileged to work in this role as Parent Institute Assistants because you have showered us with kindness and inspiration that we bring back to the families we engage with. It is a beautiful cycle of learning from one another and centering us back to our purpose, which is our students. Perhaps you have attended the elementary and middle school open houses or attended a coffee with the principal, or maybe you have participated in many other district events and workshops. Though the difficulties of life can be as predictable as the weather we have been experiencing, you are steadfast in participating in your student's education. Rialto USD families have so much spirit it is AMAZING, and evident with the growth your students have made in their iReady, their confidence, and their promotion to the next educational goal.

We need your input on "As we work together to increase student success what do you feel Family and Community Engagement should include?". To gather your feedback, we're using a tool called ThoughtExchange. All of our voices matter, so your participation is crucial and valued.

Families, did you know that we have access to FREE workshops for families? Through a collaboration between our district, the Multilingual California Project and CABE, the Parent and Family Engagement Program focuses on building leadership capacity and leveraging community knowledge to inform, support and enhance teaching and learning so that ALL students can graduate from college and be career ready. These workshops will take place on Wednesdays beginning in October and are provided in SPANISH with English translation if needed.
