Friar at fault

Dylan VanGilder

Who's at fault

Because he instigated the whole situation, Friar Laurence can be blamed for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. Friar Laurence married Romeo and Juliet causing the two to want to be with each other more often but he agreed to marry the two in hopes of ending the feud between the two families, for he said " ... for this alliance may so happy prove, to turn your households' rancor to pure love " ( Act 2, Scene 3) . What the friar meant when he said this is that he's hoping that by marring Romeo and Juliet, the feud between the two families will end.n Also Friar Laurence gives Juliet a sleeping medicine for her to use to trick everyone but Romeo into thinking that Juliet is dead but ends up truck Romeo to , " Take thou this vial, being then in bed and this distilled liquor drink thou off ;... all thy veins shall run a cold and drowsy humor, for no pulse " ( Act 4, Scene 1) . Friar is hoping that the vial makes her look dead to save her for getting in trouble for marrying Romeo and the friar from getting in trouble for marrying the two.

How the "Titanic" relates to the story "Romeo and Juliet"

The Movie "Titanic" is similar tho the story of Romeo and Juliet because there is a couple that meets on the ships that are crazy for each other like Romeo and Juliet in the story.

Jack and Rose meet on the titanic for the first time and they have love at first sight and they never want to be apart again similar to Romeo and Juliet went they meet and the ball dance. Romeo and Juliet never want to be apart after that night and even more so after they get married and that's all that the two think about is each other. Further more Jack and Rose died for each other, when the titanic started sinking Rose could have gotten life the life boat and have been saved but she didn't, she went back to look for Jack who had been handcuffed in a room on the lower levels of the ship. Romeo ended up killing himself because he thought that Juliet died and he wanted to continue to be with her even thought she hadn't really died it was a show that she put on to look like she was dead in order for the two to run away together. When Juliet woke up from her sleep spell and saw Romeo dead next to her she killed herself because she wanted to continue to be with him, even after death.

Poem for Romeo and Juliet

" Roses are red, Violets are blue; my life mines nothing without you

Romeo, oh Romeo will you be broomeo; Juliet, oh Juliet will you be my spouceliet

Let us be wedded till the end of time; even after death you will be mine".

This poem shows how Romeo and Juliet are in crazy love for each other and would rather be dead than be apart for each other.
