2022 Committee Needs
We’re making plans (and back-up plans!) for events in 2022 and could use your help! No special skills needed - just bring your ideas and willingness to tackle a task or two. It’s a great way to get to know other members of our Hanawalt Community and help our school!
- Read-a-thon - our biggest student fundraiser. Help come up with ideas for how students can earn pledges and awards for their efforts.
- A Day in the Arts - Planning is underway to determine what this event looks like in 2022. Traditionally, this committee has brought artists and experiences into the school for students to learn about working in the arts and how the arts enrich our lives. If you have a passion for the arts or organizing or want to get involved in this signature program, more help is still needed!
- Movie Night - Did you miss the madness of Movie Nights of the past? Do you really want to see it return in some form? You might just be the person to lead that effort or help on the committee so we can bring it back safely.
- Parents Night Out - If you love planning parties or organizing silent auctions; we need someone to lead this fundraiser’s effort and committee members to share their ideas. You’ll make an impact by helping to raise funds for field trips, teacher appreciation, school shirts, Block Party and other Hanawalt Community initiatives throughout the year.
If you would like to find out more about any of these committees, please email hanawaltelementarypta@gmail.com with your interest and we’ll pass your information on to the right person.
