How Franklin D. Roosevelt handled the budget crisis

In 1933, a massive budget crisis erupted almost immediately after Roosevelt was elected. The way Roosevelt handled this crisis amazed many people. On march 12th, 1933 Franklin Delano Rossevelt addressed the american people from the white house on national public radio. His famous first words were "his words were 'I want to talk for a few minutes with the people of the United States about banking' " (Brands H. W.) His calm voice echoed through many people's homes and calmed them as they were frantically trying to sort through their own economic problems. This calm essence that was Franklin D. Roosevelt is what led the United States of America out of the great depression.

Roosevelt's short-lived dream of a fourth term

In 1944, Roosevelt began his pursuit of a fourth term of office. This pursuit led to the creation of the 22nd amendment and FDR's loss in his fourth election.

The Great Depression

During his presidential era, Franklin D Roosevelt had to face the great depression. He some plans for how to handle this situation, some of which worked but some of them failed.
The "New Dream Program" introduced many Mini-programs inside itself to help the common people of the U.S get through the depression.

Franklin's Death

He passed away om April 12, 1945, Warm Springs. It was towards the end of World War II
and the Europeans were just coming into piece.
Franklin D Roosevelt passed away short after he was re elected for his 4th term of presidency. He was the only president who didn't follow the precedent of two terms. after he passed away the 22ed amendment was passed which made it a law that presidents can only serve for eight years.
