John Bell for President
Here's the Opportunity to stay in Unity!
About
Bell was a former Senator from Tennessee. He first began as a Democrat and then became a Whig. He was also a part of the House of Representatives and was Secretary of State. He does not believe that Southern secession was necessary considering the thought that the Constitution protected slavery.
Slavery
Bell does not have a set decision on being for or against slavery, but his main goal is to keep the Union together.
Edward Everett, Supporter
Edward Everett, Bell's Vice President, has past experience in politics. He was former Senator and Governor of Massachusetts. He was also a former Secretary of State. Everett fully supports Bell.
