Business Week 2023 (July 16-21)
For: 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students, ranked in the top 30% of their class.
South Carolina Business Week is the premier youth program of the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce. The timely and customized curriculum encourages participants to excel as individuals while becoming integral team players.
Each year, South Carolina Business Week presents four college scholarships totaling $12,000 to deserving students. The scholarships are S. Hunter Howard, Jr. Business Week Scholarship ($5,000), the Ron McNair Leadership Scholarship ($5,000), and the Chelse Ward Elliott Scholarship ($2,000). Students who receive one of the first two scholarships must attend an in-state college or university to receive the scholarship money.
As indicated in the flyer, all students who are accepted are given a sponsorship to cover all expenses except the $75.00 application fee. We can only select 100 students from throughout the state. The application deadline is April 30, 2023. Qualified students are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. We want your school to be represented at our host site, University of South Carolina’s Darla Moore School of Business, July 16-21, 2023. Please encourage your students to visit www.scbusinessweek.com for more information.
