Eco Warriors

Our Eco Warriors are monitoring our energy use every week. They would like to thank everyone in school for remembering to switch things off when they are not in use, because our energy use in each area has reduced this week. George says, “Keep it up!”

FOSS Sponsored Cycle

Do please send in photos of children doing sponsored cycling for FOSS. We would love to see what they have been doing! Currently, Alastair in Year 6 has cycled 48 Km and Harris in Reception has done 16 Km which is amazing! There is just over a week to do more cycling and help raise money that will help provide things for all children in school.

Please enter how far the children cycle each week on this form.

Class Weekly Update

As you know, our teachers send a weekly email update for their class. We believe that this is really valuable and goes further than many other schools. It contains useful information about what your child has been learning, and what might be coming up so please do take the time to read it.

Royal Celebration Lunch

We had a great time at school last Friday enjoying the Royal Celebration Lunch. A special thank you to Mrs Doy in the kitchen for providing the delicious delights!

Please remember to apply suncream to your child BEFORE they come to school, send them with a sun hat (name written inside please) and a refillable water bottle (also with their name on).

School Lunches

Next week we will be on Week 1 of the lunch menu below.

Children can decide daily whether they are having a school dinner or packed lunch.

Please ensure you discuss the menu each day with your child so they can decide what they would like to order. Once they know their choices, they will choose this each morning with their teacher during registration.

Each day there are 3 choices, either the hot dinner, the sandwich or the jacket potato with a choice of topping. The sandwich and jacket potato always come with a selection of vegetables/salad on the side and have the full pudding choice for that day.
