Cedar Grove Friday Flash
October 11, 2019
Dear Cedar Grove Families,
We will once again be having a canned and boxed food drive to benefit Damascus HELP from October 14 through 18. Your child may place items in the box located in his or her classroom or in the boxes in the main hallway. Flyers were distributed to students about this food drive. Your contributions will be greatly appreciated!
Open House will be this Monday, October 14, 2019 from 9:30 until 11:30. We welcome you to come and visit your child's classroom. In addition, we will be providing two informational sessions about Eureka Math, our new math curriculum, led by Mrs. Thurn. The math session times will be 9:45 to 10:30 a.m. and 10:45 to 11:30 a.m. and will contain the same information, so you may attend either session. Please note the room change for these sessions; they will now be held in the music room. Signs will be posted to direct you to this location. If you are unable to come to Open House, we will be presenting the same Eureka Math information at our November PTA meeting on November 5th at 7:00 p.m.
As a reminder, the blacktop will be open for parking during this time, but vehicles will need to be removed from the blacktop by 11:30, as students will be coming out to recess. Thank you, and we hope to see you at our Open House!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Mr. Derby and Mrs. German
