Crushing Growth Goals
Each student at CES has an individualized growth goal set for Reading, Math and Science. These goals are based on students individual performance and strengths. Students meeting these goals are recognized and rewarded in the cafeteria after each online assessment. Below are just a few images of student groups meeting goals. Way to go students!
Rider Bucks Store
Students are working hard to demonstrate qualities of what it means to be a good Rider. Students earn Rider Bucks for positive academic and behavior that they can then spend in the CES Rider Bucks Store. The students pictured below used their Rider Bucks to buy a picnic lunch with a friend.
School Wide Events
Red Ribbon Week “Choose Your Path. Make SAFE Choices."
In October CES Students and staff joined the nation wide Drug Free Campaign to acknowledge substance abuse prevention. Red Ribbon Week is recognized each year in October and is the nation's largest and longest running substance use prevention campaign. This years' Red Ribbon Week Slogan is "Choose Your Path: Make SAFE Choices". CES students participated in dress up days to reinforce the idea of safe choices and participated in a Red Ribbon Rally hosted by ADAC.

Fall Scholastic Book Fair
In October CES hosted the annual Scholastic Book Fair. Thanks to generous donations from the community every student at CES was able to take a new book home.
Veteran's Day
In November CES honored members of the armed forces with a school wide program. After the conclusion of the program students to the opportunity to serve local veteran's coffee and cake to acknowledge the sacrifices they made for our freedom.

Kids and Socializing Online
- Remind kids that online actions have consequences
- Talk to kids about limiting personal information they share
- Encourage online manners
- Limit access to online profiles
- Talk to your kids and monitor their online presence

6 Tips for Staying Healthy During the Winter Months
- Teach kids good hand washing hygiene
- Remind them not to touch their faces
- Take a reusable water bottle to school
- Educate kids on proper cough and sneeze etiquette
- Make sure they get at least 8 hours of sleep each night
- Provide healthy food options
