The "Living Room War"
The war that divided us!!!
Veterans protesting the war
Men marching against the war that they felt was only to please the rich men of society.
Many of the men that returned from the war felt like it was for nothing and would sell their medals for money to support their families. Once they returned the men couldn't find jobs when they came back home.
When the soldiers came there where no parades for them because many people where against the war and didn't want to celebrate what they had done in the Vietnam.
Why we didn't have support at home
Many people had came to the conclusion that the government had been lying to the men and women of american throughout the whole war
This picture shows the amount of respect the the soldiers had for each other even though they knew that they had all went a fought for something that had no effect on them.
Another reason that many people where against the war is because it left many children with out families
After math of the war
This shows the affect of the war many years after the United States pulled out of North and South Vietnam.
Many men lost dads, brothers, uncles, cousins, and friends to to war while they made it back home and feel guilty that they returned alive and they gave their life in the war.
Forty years after the war ended men are still facing obstacles to over come from being homeless to not being able to find a job to support themselves

Why I chose Anti-war
I decided to do my project on anti-war because we are coming close to repeating history only with more deaths and more destruction due to the advancements in the technology and weaponry we have today. Many people believe that the U.S. should worry about the million of homeless and less fortunate we have here and once we handled the problem here we can move on to other countries and help them gain what they need to in order to be a well functioning country.
