Blue Valley Schools is committed to promoting and fostering a safe environment in and around all of our schools. CAPS Open House
Curious about CAPS? Unsure what programs are offered and how they might support your long-term career plans? Wondering how you can fit CAPS into an already packed 4-year plan? Those questions and more can be answered during the CAPS OPEN HOUSE on Tuesday, February 28th from 12:00-2:30pm.
Drop by after testing. This event is open to ALL high school students and parents. You can tour the building and meet with instructors and administrators who can help you plan your CAPS experience.

Congrats!
Congratulations to the following BPA (Business Professionals of America) members on their success at our State Conference! These students competed against over 500 students from across the state of Kansas over the weekend! They will have the opportunity to move on to the BPA National Competition in Anaheim, CA in April!

2nd Place—Tanner Lewis, Nate Singer, Michael Simmons, Economic Research Team, (National Qualifiers)
2nd Place—Alana Lewis, Administrative Support Research Project, (National Qualifier)
3rd Place—Alexis Dominic, Presentation Management Individual, (National Qualifier) and Top 10—Meeting and Event Planning
3rd Place— Shubha Kohli, Health Administrative Procedures (National Qualifier)

Alexis Dominic was also elected as the BPA State President for the 23-24 school year. We are very proud of these T-wolves for their accomplishments and wish them luck at Nationals!
SPRINGS SPORTS
Boys Volleyball
BVSW Boys Volleyball Club,
BVSW Boys Volleyball Informational meeting/tryouts
3/6, 7:30-9pm, BVSW Main gym. Parents and Players strongly encouraged to attend. Tryout to follow the meeting.
3/8, 7:30-9pm, BVSW Main gym. Parents and Players strongly encouraged to attend. Tryout and practice.
We will have 2 informational player/parent meetings to ensure all who would like to attend will have an opportunity. Parents should only feel inclined to attend one.
BVSW Boys Volleyball Club:
Open to all BVSW Boys Volleyball Club participants, activities (FREE).
BVSW Boys Volleyball Team:
BVSW Boys Volleyball Varsity (and JV and C-team?) practices and matches
Practices: 1-2 hrs, 1-2 nights per week, likely after 7:30pm, depending on gym availability
Matches 1-2 per week (home and away). Season runs late March thru early May.
Costs
● $100-$150 per player to cover Jersey, Coach registration, and Team league fees
● Likely additional $15 fee for Individual league registration
● Additional cost if team chooses to participate in other optional tournaments

BVSW YARD SIGNS, ACTIVITY PLATES & RALLY FLAGS
If you need a yard sign, activity plate or rally flag for your spring sport/activity, the deadline to order is March 5! Orders can be placed on the PTO website.
