Crestview Weekly Update
March 30 - April 3
You have your iPad - Now what?
Distance learning is a required state mandate for all students in the state of Minnesota. Crestview staff is working hard to be sure we can support you to navigate the new process. WE CAN DO IT.
If you have not already done so - please:
- Be sure your child is able to connect his/her iPad to See Saw
- If you are UNABLE to connect the iPad - send an e-mail to your child's teacher - we will have tech support get in contact with you as soon as possible to help to troubleshoot the issue(make sure you are connected to YOUR home wi-fi)
- If you are able to connect to the iPad send a test message to your child's teacher
- Directions on HOW to connect are below
By MONDAY:
- Help your child set up a learning space at home
- Your child should send a sample message to his/her child's teacher
- Get the space set up with a pencil, paper and his/her iPad
- Try to find a space that is quiet without distraction - remove toys, other tech devices and keep siblings separated as needed
Patience....Patience....Patience
Remember this is new for everyone -
- give yourself some grace
- give your child some grace
- give your teacher some grace
If it takes time to get the hang of this THAT IS OK! Take a deep breath, ask for help and we will get through this.
Remember to Stay Crestview Strong!!!

SPIRIT DAY IS COMING!
Crestview isn't just a school building, Crestview is a family! Next Monday, March 30th (the first day of e-learning), we encourage all Crestview students to wear a Crestview shirt to show their Crestview pride. There will be a post on the Crestview Facebook page to share a pic of your Cardinal(s) in their Crestview gear learning at home, and we'll make a collage of all the submitted images.
