October 10, 2022
Last week was an amazing and eventful week at Ben Franklin Elementary! Our spirit days were a huge hit with many students participating - who knew that so many students can dress in head-to-toe tie dye? And, when I say head-to-toe, I mean it…there were students with tie dye shoes and socks! Very impressive! We finished off the week with the Bobcat Bolt, our fun run/walkathon fundraising event. Over the weekend, we surpassed our $15,000 goal reaching $16,700! Thank you to all the students, families, and extended families that participated and generously donated to our Ben Franklin School Community! Our students definitely earned the donations that they raised with their effort in the run/walk. I am guessing some families had tired children on Friday night. Here are some pictures from the event.
Most Sincerely,
Steffany Jewell

The hills are alive with the sound of music! Join Forte Theatre Company for their mainstage debut at the Saber Center - and one of the most beloved musicals of all time. In Austria, 1938, an exuberant young governess brings music and joy back to a broken family, only to face danger and intrigue as the Nazis gain power. With music and lyrics by Rodgers & Hammerstein, a cast of some of Milwaukee's top professional talent and FPS students playing some of the VonTrapp children, this is a theatrical experience not to be missed!
