my six weeks project
By: Kyle Ransom
What I have learned.
This six weeks I have learned:
Brainstorming-Graphic organizers:
Graphic organizers are things that help you get ideas for a story.
Revising/editing techniques:
Rainbow editing: helps find out if you've used to many commas or periods etc. In a sentence or if you need more in a sentence.
Influence of setting and plots:
Sensory language: words that help the reader to picture in their mind what is happening in the story. The five senses feel, taste, hear, smell, and see.
Point of view:
1st and 3rd person:
how someone looks or sees something
1st person is when the narrator uses pronouns like I and me to describe things.
3rd person is when the narrator doesn't use pronouns like I and me but they use the names of the character like kyle and they.
Types of narratives:
Science fiction: A form of fiction that draws imaginatively on scientific knowledge and speculation in its plot, setting, theme, etc.
Mystery: A novel, short story, play, or film whose plot involves a crime or other other event that remains puzzlingly unsettled until the very end.
Fantasy: Fake or in your imagination.
Time travel: Stories that travel back or forwards in time.
