2023-2024 School Year :: Week of October 30, 2023
A Message from Mrs. Hankins
JSE Families and Friends,
Thank You for Last Week's Success!
I hope you all had an enjoyable Fall Break following our amazing week. Thank you to the JSE PTO for helping put on the Spooktacular. There were so many volunteers passing out candy, and so many wonderful costumes. It was a terrific night!
We also appreciate everyone taking time out of their day last Tuesday for our Parent/Teacher conferences. These are so important to keep the communication and collaboration open for our kids. It's so great to see a team behind each student! Our JSE attendance was at 93% schoolwide either in person, virtual, or a phone call.
This Week's Happenings
Tomorrow is Halloween and trick-or-treating, one of my most favorite days! Please do not send your child in their Halloween costume to school. We do not need any ripped or lost items before the big night.
Friday, we will be doing a district-wide reunification drill. This drill is for our staff to practice the motions of what to do if we couldn't get back into the building. We will be doing it on-site at JSE, and no one will be bussed to a different site. We are notifying students that we will be walking outside and being there for a moment so everyone can put on their coats and gear.
Thank you so much for your constant support and collaboration with us. We appreciate it, and it goes a long way for our students!
You are loved at JSE,
Mrs. Hankins
