05/09-11 - Campus closed: STAAR testing & no specials (art, PE and library)

05/13 - Musical costumes needed on campus (except class shirts and jeans)

05/13 - Reading Counts store

05/13 - 7am - All Pro Dads

05/17 - 6pm Fine Arts Night at Nelson

05/19 - Musical performance at 7:00 pm. Students arrive at 6:45 - dressed and ready

05/27 - Field day - wear your panda shirts

05/30 - No School

05/31 - 8:15 2nd grade End of Year awards ceremony

06/02 - 12:50 dismissal on last day of school

Student Council Fundraiser

STUCO has stared their Denton Animal Shelter Fundraiser. They are selling PAWS for .25 cents each. They will be selling PAWS until Friday May 6th. The class with the most PAWS sold will win a Popcorn Party for their class.

I promise, they really are having a good time. We learned how cameras used to work in the old days. People would have to sit really still for quite a while. So it was easier to sit still with a "glum" face than to hold a smile for that long. We tried it out and decided we like smiling better!
